Vivace Singers at Christmas CD has now been released on itunes.  Preview tracks by clicking the button below With members who have sung alongside Bryn Terfel, Katherine Jenkins, Aled Jones and Catrin Finch, Vivace Singers are, unsurprisingly, in high demand as an experienced female vocal ensemble. The singers have performed and recorded extensively as freelancers for BBC, S4C, EMI, Chandos, Priory and Sain. Formed at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama their aim is to present a wide range of a cappella and accompanied music for female voices. They perform in styles ranging from madrigals through to pop, and with in-house arrangers they can work with clients to tailor-make performances where required. Well-recognised on both the National and International stage, they have appeared at a number of venues and events ranging from the Wales Millennium Centre and St David's Hall, to the Lower Machen Festival and Halifax Chamber Music Festival. In April 2004 they were privileged to represent Great Britain at America Cantat IV held in Mexico City. As well as performing as an independent ensemble, they are often asked to collaborate with other ensembles and have been invited to perform with many of the leading male voice choirs:  Gwalia Singers, the Morriston Orpheus Choir, the Dunvant Male Choir , the Whitland Male Voice Choir and the Haverfordwest Male Voice choir.  They have also shared the stage with Mal Pop and Steve Balsamo at the Swansea Grand Theatre and worked collaboratively with Serendipity and Only Men Aloud!   they commissioned John Hardy to write a choral cycle entitled "Spaces - beyond the end of the world" in June 2006.  This was supported by funding from the Arts Council of Wales and the PRS Foundation.
